Description
New Energy Research Center at CSST Smart China Research is looking for international highly motivated and dedicated researchers and developers with strong passion and experience in the areas of energy storage and optimization to join our team as Researcher, Engineer, Research Assistant or Technician.
Tasks & Responsibilities
The researchers and developers will work towards creating cutting-edge new energy systems and turn it into products employed in smart cities. We are particularly interested in candidates who have
- Master’s Degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science or relevant disciplines
- Strong experience and passion for energy storage and optimization research and development.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and execute on a research project effectively.
- Demonstrated potentials for making world-class research impact and moving innovative technology into products.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities of the jobs involve:
- Develop and apply cutting-edge new energy technologies into smart cities.
- Collaborate with universities, research institutes and companies to conduct research.
- Understand market’s requirement and develop potential solutions.
- Stay current with latest research and technology ideas, share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas through papers, presentations to research staff.
- Publish in relevant top journals and conferences, contribute to CSST’s patent portfolio.
Knowledge & Skills

Energy Management:
- Power battery & ultracapacitor control; modeling and simulation; energy control strategy development; 16-bit MCU system development; Embedded system programming;
Electronics:
- Bidirection DCDC; Energy exchange mechanism; Power battery and ultracapacitor management; energy flow optimization.
Industry Strategy
- New energy industry research and technology survey; industry strategy report; center technical development roadmap; patent application and technical paper publish
Integration:
- Power battery system integration; electric circuit design; packaging and cabling; Test process and procedure development to energy storage system; system calibration and optimization
