Research position available in Civil Engineering

Applications are invited for a research position (PhD or MPil) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) under the supervision of Dr. Elias Dimitrakopoulos. Eligibility
This is a call for high caliber candidates, who wish to pursue a MPhil or PhD degree in Civil Engineering at the HKUST.

English Requirements:
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
Paper-based test (PBT) score ≥ 650, Internet-based test (iBT) score ≥ 95
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS): overall score ≥ 7.0, all sub-scores ≥ 6.0

Funding
The standard studentship is approximately HK$16,000 per month tax free. Strong candidates will be supported to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2015/16. The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$240,000 and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 per year, for 3 years.
