近期SHO关于CGA/TGA与字母等第转换的解释引发同学间一些疑惑，本会执委会特此向Provost及SAO、SHO查询。今天收到Dr. Grace Au（Director of SAO）的回复，表示会考虑采用较早时候Senate meeting时确定的标准而不是SHO现时采用的简单转换来确定同学的等第，早前提到的rule of no disadvantage亦有效。收到邮件要求提交transcript的同学请先按照邮件指示提交，之后如有问题SHO会另行通知大家。

I have looked into the matter and found out that there were indeed discrepancies regarding the CGA/SGA calculation method announced by the Housing Office. The Housing Office has been using the course grade conversion table for the verification process, rather than the conversion standards as approved in an earlier Senate meeting. My colleagues are now rectifying the information submitted by the students and shall adopt the Senate's conversion standards for verification. The rule of no disadvantage should also apply in this case.

I understand my colleagues in the Housing Office have informed students with outstanding academic performance to first submit their unofficial transcript, after which our colleagues would do the verification and let them know in case there is any problem.
