西贡蚝涌（蠔涌）单间招租啦

现招一名科大室友，男女不限，希望新室友爱干净并且作息时间规律无不良习惯。至少一年起租（2019年8月9日至2019年8月8日）。最早七月中下旬可以入住。

房屋情况：

房屋地址在西贡蚝涌（蠔涌）。房屋在G楼，整层有700尺加一个1000尺的院子！总共三室（一大两小）一厅两卫一厨。现大卧室住着可爱的香港博后大师姐，其中一个小卧室为博士生小师弟，另一个小卧室招租。招租的小卧室大概有2.75 m x 1.8 m，里面已经有一张床（3 ft x 6 ft）、衣柜、一张书桌和椅子。 我们一起share客厅（有饭桌、沙发、电视、书架等）、储物间、厨房（有个会烤蛋糕的师姐就不用担心厨具了）、院子（有洗衣机）。新室友将和小师弟共用一个洗手间。

交通：

离巴士站三到五分钟的距离，有792M大巴和12路小巴直达学校。101M小巴直达坑口。坐上巴士后到学校只有約5分钟的车程。1A小巴可以去彩虹钻石山方向，也有其他小巴直达旺角。另外我们有帅气的同事早上8：45左右会到村口接我们去科大，若你也早起的话欢迎搭车。

房租及其他费用：

房间是每月4500hkd，押二付一，无中介费。水电Wi-Fi及一些杂费（垃圾袋、厕纸、洗手液之类）平摊。

小小的规定：

我们每周会轮流打扫公共区域卫生，希望新室友也能加入。

Hi All,

We are looking for a tidy lady/gentleman from the HKUST family to join us in our shared apartment in Sai Kung.

We are leasing a single room in a shared apartment in Ho Chung New Village. This is a 700 square feet apartment (indoor) with a 1,000 square feet garden on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms (one large, two small) in the apartment. The large room (with washroom) is occupied by a local female postdoc from Aug 2017, while one of the small rooms is taken by a mainland male PhD student since June 2019, both from the Division of Life Science.

The second small room on lease now is approximately 2.75 m x 1.8 m, with basic furniture included (a 3 ft x 6 ft single bed with mattress, a wardrobe, a writing desk, and a chair). Shared area of the apartment includes the storeroom (for keeping luggage etc.), the living room (with a two-seated sofa, a dining table with four chairs, a television and a TV cabinet, a shoe rack, and a bookshelf), the washroom that faces the living room (to be shared by users from the two small rooms), the kitchen (with essential cookware, i.e. a refrigerator, a kettle, an induction cooker, a pressure cooker, a small oven, a sauce pan, a frying pan…) and the garden (with a washing machine, a clothes hanging rack, an outdoor table with three chairs).

The apartment is approximately 3-minute walk away from the nearest bus station. Bus number 792M and minibus number 12 connect HKUST and Ho Chung Village with only a less-than-5-minute ride. Public transport to Admiralty, Choi Hung, Diamond Hill, Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong, Mong Kok, Sai Kung, Tseung Kwan O are also available. A kind colleague from the Division of the Life Science is taking us from Nam Pin Wai to HKUST every weekday at around 0845. You are welcomed to join us if the schedule fits.

Rent for the small room is HKD 4500 per month (with two months’ rent as deposit). As we are making the deal directly with the landlord, so no agency fee is required. Bills for internet (wifi), water, and electricity, and any other miscellaneous expenses (usually for things like toilet paper, dish washing soap, hand soap etc.) will be split monthly (for internet and miscellaneous expenses) or every two to four months (for water and electricity).

To keep the environment clean, we take turns to clean up the communal area every week. A clean and tidy HKUST student or staff with no bad habits are welcomed to join us for a minimum of one-year (from 9 August 2019 to 8 August 2020). Earliest availability of the room is expected to be from mid-July 2019 (negotiable and to be confirmed).
