Full Stack Developer

Founded by HKUST faculty and students, LiPHY Communications limited is a start-up that aims to build AI powered IoT solutions for creating intelligent infrastructure with focus on smart lighting, signage and displays.

We are looking for talents who aspire to work in a start-up environment where you have the opportunity to constantly try new things and be at the forefront of the development of cutting-edge technology with enormous opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

1.      Develop and maintain web applications (React app, HTML, PHP)

2.      Participate in system development life cycle including system design, coding, testing, deployment and system support

3.      Set up and maintain cloud server, database design and management

Salary

Skills and Requirements

·        1-3 years of experience (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply)

·        Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline

·        Proficient in responsive Web programming such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with knowledge of React

·        Experience of backend development using languages such as PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.

·        Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

·        Familiar in deployment on cloud platforms using Heroku, Amazon AWS.

·        Well organized, disciplined and responsible with a good work ethic

·        Able to work both independently and in a team and self-driven to meet project schedules

·        Fluent in spoken and written English

Mobile Application Developer

1. Develop and maintain mobile phone applications on iOS and Android Platforms
   
2. Manage the mobile application development process from application design to launch, including design, development, testing, implementation, enhancement and maintenance
   
3. Provide day-to-day system support

Skills and Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are also welcome to apply)
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
  
• Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native iOS and Android applications.
  
• Previous hands-on development experience in either Objective-C (iOS) or Java (Android), integrating with 3rd party APIs or debugging skills is an advantage, but willingness to learn is the key.
  
• Experience of working with Xcode and Android Studio development environment
  
• Knowledge of React Native is a plus
  
• Experience in GitLab, GitHub would be an advantage
  
• Well organized, disciplined and responsible with a good work ethic
  
• Able to work both independently and in a team and self-driven to meet project schedules

Office Manager

Founded by HKUST faculty and students, LiPHY Communications limited is a start-up that aims to build AI powered IoT solutions for creating intelligent infrastructure with focus on smart lighting, signage and displays.

We are looking for an office manager for our newly setup co-working space. Being the office manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a community of highly motivated and ambitious entrepreneurs and a chance to contribute to the development of futuristic technologies.

Responsibilities

4.      Acting as the key point of contact for customers and visitors

5.      Manage office equipment, office utilities account renewals, supplies ordering and coordinate with supplier’s / estate management

6.      Answer phones and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently

7.      Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

8.      Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

 

Salary

Skills and Requirements

1.      Graduate, higher diploma or association degree is preferred.

2.      Able to handle office administrative duties independently

3.      Personality wise- Attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

4.      Native or fluent Cantonese and English speaker preferred. Knowledge in a second language is a plus.

5.      Basic computer knowledge such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.

6.      Work independently, multi-tasking, organized and accountable
