Role: Junior trader/ Trading assistant (buy side)

Company Background
The Investment firm is a private equity fund under management of 1.5 billion USD AUM, with 400 million USD offshore fund with SFC type 9 Licence. The onshore fund has 22.7% annualized return during the past 10 year, leading the mainland private equity track record with the first ranking. The offshore fund has 85% annualized return during the past two years. Both onshore and offshore annualized return are after management and performance fee. The fund investment approach is a combination of top-down sector value chain analysis and bottom-up company research. The company has office in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. We are looking for a junior trader to join its expanding team in Hong Kong.

Requirements
1. Hong Kong permanent resident is required, fresh graduates are welcomed
2. Take shifts to cover multiple trading zones including HK and US markets, but working hour would be flexible
3. Trading products covered include equity, futures and options, lack of experience would be also considered
4. Solid VBA and spreadsheet automation skillset is strongly preferred
5. Fluent Mandarin and English skills are required
6. High degree of personal integrity, reliable and trust-worthy
7. Respect Mainland China and HK culture

Job Responsibilities
1. Execute trade orders via different ems vendors
2. Assist portfolio manager to monitor positions, P&L and market risks
3. Maintain the pre-trade and post-trade data for compliance purpose
4. Ad-hoc automation project work with senior trader
