Popcorn Media Network is both an online media and marketing solutions company. There are 3 online magazines under the group; Butterboom.com which is one of the first independent online fashion website to launch in Hong Kong covering fashion, beauty, shopping news. Neonpunch.com covers the latest on gadget, style and popular culture for men and Winebuzz.hk is the site for wine news and events in Hong Kong. We have worked with many brands entering the Hong Kong market as well as established brands like Burberry, Dior, Chanel, H&M, CSL 1010, Tag Heuer over the years.

We offer clients customized marketing solutions covering media planning, members marketing, influencer and consumer engagement programs across lifestyle fashion, beauty, tech and wine sector.

We are looking for an experienced editor for our site- Butterboom.com to cover fashion, beauty and lifestyle news and feature stories. The candidate should be someone who is knowledgeable in the above topics, have great ideas, able to write fast, is an active participant in the social media scene and have a head for marketing.

You must have an eye for fashion, trends, good taste and able to work at internet speed. You should be able to tap into an extensive network of writers, stylists, photographers.

We expect that you would able to pull together a fashion shoot as well as run a contest on the site for our readers. We require that you are marketing savvy and have ran a couple of online marketing campaigns, contest and promotions not too long ago.

Responsibilities

•Responsible for overall content and quality of writing for the website
•Generate compelling ideas that will draw eyeballs and engage readers
•Write a portion of the content and manage, edit and sub-edit other writers and contributors work
•Overseas layout design, photo shoots
•Develop and manage marketing campaigns from concept to implementation for our sites and on behalf of for our advertisers.


Requirements

We prefer applicants with minimum of 2-3 years experience in writing, editing fashion content for an established online website or have run your own blog or is a marketing executive with experience in PR and event management in Hong Kong or abroad. If you don’t have this experience but will be able to demonstrate that you can do the job, we would love to hear from you too.
•Proven ability to manage editorial projects from idea generation to completion
•Passionate and knowledgeable about fashion, luxury, beauty topics
•Digitally and social media savvy, active participant
•Strong editing/rewrite skills
•Quick and creative story generator
•Able to run marketing campaigns, manage events and contests
•Excellent command of written English and fluent in Cantonese
•Very detail oriented, reliable and responsible person
