We are looking for a few more students participating in an experiment of speed perception.

Details are as follows:



Tasks: Visual speed judgment for oscillating moving virtual scenes



Duration & Remuneration: The whole experiment consists of 3 trials; one trial a day; each trial lasts for approximately one hour depending on your performance. You will receive a monetary compensation of $50 HKD per trial. In addition, a bonus of $100 HKD will be given if your average correct rate is higher than 70%. In short, you can earn up to $250 HKD at most!

[NB: although monetary compensation is important, the most important thing is that you are helping my PhD and contributing to the advancement of SCIENCES].



Venues : IELM Manufacturing System Lab Room 4223 (you can use Lift 22 to go up to 4th floor, then downstairs since Rm4223 is between 3rd floor and 4th floor.)



Participants' eligibility: UST students. A screening test for visual acuity will be performed before the experiment.



Experiment Schedule: Dec 7 – Dec 23, 9 am – 9 pm, including Saturday and Sunday.



Any interested party need to choose a timeslot on three different days within the experiment schedule (NOTE: Those who can come on three successive days at same timeslot are preferred, such as “Monday to Wed, 10am”, and it’s first come first serve!).
