美国 科罗拉多大学博尔德分校 机械工程系 丁晓云教授 招收 2020年博士生
There are 2-3 fully funded PhD and 1 postdoctoral positions available in the department of Mechanical engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, in the area of biomedical device and lab on a chip.
We conduct highly multidisciplinary research at the frontiers of science, engineering, and biomedicine. Currently our group focus on the micro/nano technology (Microfluidics and MEMS) for (1) On-chip diagnosis and analysis, (2) Physical approach based precise intracellular and subcellular drug delivery for immunotherapy and gene editing, (3) Cell mechanics. We aim to develop innovative technologies and tools to solve challenging problems in biomedicine and to improve human health. We take it as our responsibility to train future leaders dedicated to excellence.
(1) Ph.D. position starting Fall 2020: 1) Passion and commitment to excellence; 2) Good training in research (publication and research experience are preferred, but not required); 3) Good personality. Microfabrication experience or acoustics background is preferred but not required. GRE and TOEFL (or IELTS) are required, but the score requirement is flexible depending on your whole package.
(2) Postdoc position starting spring 2020: Good training in the field of biomedical devices, microfluidics, and/or acoustics.
