The Managing Director (who you will be spending a lot of time with) is a well-versed, logical and mild-tempered business person with more than a decade of ERP experience. We are targeting to make our services the de-facto standard for Japanese SMEs, especially for the ones that are operating in Asia.

ERP Technical Consultant
Rooms For (Hong Kong) Limited is looking for an ERP (Odoo) Technical Consultant.
As an ERP Consultant, you are expected to work on various tasks related to our projects and service development, in a challenging yet flexible work environment.
Responsibilities - must be committed to generate value/output
- Handle support requests from customers and solve their problems
- Research various technical matters, design and propose solutions to customers / improvements to internal operations
- Coordinate plans/tasks with customers and other consultants in Odoo implementation projects
- Plan, design and conduct training sessions
- Contribute to the open-source community
Required Skills/Characteristics - good soft-skills as well as practical skills are a must
- Programming skills (preferably with Python/JavaScript)
- Understanding of RDBMS (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of Linux serer operation
- Understanding of source code management system (e.g. GitHub)
- Multi-lingual - good writing and speaking in at least two languages (among English, Chinese and Japanese)
- Good inter-personal skills, being able to understand people's reasoning and emotions
- Passionate about helping customers by building good systems
Optional Skills - it would be an extra advantage to have these skills but we place higher importance on your self-directed ability and passion to learn
- Experience with an ERP/CRM/eCommerce system
- Understanding of Docker
- Understanding of business operations in general
- Experience with web design
- Basic understanding of accounting
Career Level: Entry Level
Location: Ngau Tau Kok
Starting Salary: HK$14,000 - 17,000 /month (negotiable)
