关于YDC和E-Challenge 2011
YDC Entrepreneurs’ Challenge (E-Challenge) 2011

The Young Entrepreneurs Development Council (YDC), a non-profit organization, is delighted to announce that YDC E-Challenge 2011 is about to kick off. YDC has been organizing E-Challenge annually with the aim to support and equip the students as well as possible by providing them with resources to develop a business idea and formulate a business plan in the past 11 years.

YDC E-Challenge plans to broaden our scope to include networking events, in which two of them will be industry-based, with proposed industries focused on Information Technology and Healthcare. Having combined E-Challenge and Hong Kong Business Plan (HKBP), YDC E-Challenge 2011 is open to all part-time and full-time tertiary students at all levels - alumni, researchers, faculty and staff from local universities and local tertiary institutes. People studying aboard are welcome to team up as well. However, all teams must have at least local full-time tertiary student participating.

The intention is for YDC E-Challenge 2011 to help enlarge the pool of quality business plans and provide participating teams a useful platform to reach the local angels and venture capital communities. Similar to our YDC E-Challenges in the past, we will organize a number of workshops and networking opportunities led by industry veterans and investors to help participating teams develop and improve on their business plans, which will in turn improve the fundability of their ventures.

We would welcome a chance to explain this new initiative to you as we hope to include the talents from your university to make this a truly representative event for the investor/ entrepreneurial community. YDC will also hold a briefing session at universities in January/ early February 2011 for students to know more about YDC E-Challenge 2011.
