Last Call for helper: 非本地研究院新生服務站 (11.8.2010-20.8.2010) 招人 -- 協助新PG同學

Hi all,

Concerning the captioned activity, I am now trying to seek MSSS's help to get more helpers.

At the moment, there are only 1-2 helpers each day. (My special thanks to LUO Jun and her friend as they can take most of the days, also thanks to Allen Chen Junting who is in fact not a PC but a participant in MHFA class, and also those PCs who have already told me they can offer help, including Zhou Tao, Simon Shi, Ameng, FU lan, Daniel Zheng and Wang Xiang)

However, I have no helper on 11 Aug at the moment. So wonder if any more volunteers will be able to help out, or else I might need to cancel the service on 11 Aug and start it on 12 Aug. Also, as discussed with ARRO, they allow us to set up the counter on 14 and 16 Aug (Sat and Mon), the two registration days, at Arts Hall so that we can approach the new students when they come to register at HKUST. Therefore I expect we need more manpower on those two days as well.

I understand that PG students are tightened up by research work and study and also some of you may have returned home during August. And the captioned service is indeed on a voluntary basis. For those who will be free in August, grateful if you can re-consider whether you will be available to offer help, even if you can only be on duty for half day.
