约翰霍普金斯大学计算机系金鑫教授招收博士生，欢迎对计算机网络和系统有兴趣的同学申请，主要研究课题为：软件定义网络，云计算系统和大数据系统。金鑫今年6月毕业于普林斯顿大学毕业，导师是普林斯顿大学计算机系系主任、美国国家工程院院士Jennifer Rexford教授。金鑫目前在UC Berkeley著名的AMPLab做博士后，和Ion Stoica教授一起工作，并将于2017年加入约翰霍普金斯大学做助理教授。金鑫和业界很多大型企业和科技创业公司都有合作，包括Microsoft Research, AT&T Labs, Bell Labs, Barefoot Networks, Rockley Photonics，等等。金鑫的研究成果发表于计算机顶级会议，包括SIGCOMM, NSDI, CoNEXT, EuroSys，等等。

Xin Jin an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University starting in Fall 2017. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the AMPLab at UC Berkeley, working with Professor Ion Stoica. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in computer science from Princeton University in 2013 and 2016, under the supervision of Professor Jennifer Rexford. He received his B.S. in computer science and B.A. in economics from Peking University in 2011. He is broadly interested in computer networking and distributed systems, with recent focus on software-defined networking, cloud computing and big data systems. He has actively collaborated with leading research institutes and cutting-edge startups, including Microsoft Research, AT&T Labs, Bell Labs, Barefoot Networks, and Rockley Photonics. He has received many awards and honors, including Siebel Scholar (2016), Princeton’s Charlotte Elizabeth Procter Fellowship (2015), and Princeton Graduate Fellowship (2011).
