China Merchants Group is a state-owned conglomerate based in Hong Kong, under direct supervision of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Comprising a total of 12 companies, of which 5 in Hong Kong and 7 in Mainland China, China Merchants Group currently has three main business sectors of Transport (ports, roads, energy shipping, logistics, ship-repairing, marine engineering), Finance (banks, securities, funds, insurances), and Property (zones development, real estate).
